S, ir: A man who can find bookstalls bulging with ripe porn' should not lightly be criticised. But Richard West's survey of Scandinavian literature (`The threat to 4 February) contains three Inaccuracies: sadistic pornography is illegal In Sweden; and Marta Tikkanen's two books are not called Men don't get raped and I married an alcoholic; but Men can't be raped (in which the heroine proves that they can), and Love story of the century (Subject matter as indicated.
