Gloomy Fanny. By Morley Roberts. (Eveleigh Nash. 6s.)— This is
a collection of stories, of which the first deals again with the gentleman who is generally known as "Gloomy Fanny." The story is anything but gloomy, and is the most amusing of the collection. "The Beatus Page," however, further on in the book, quite deserves "Fanny's" epithet, and is a powerful and rather horrible story concerned with a madman.
