Three 2100 prizes

Sir: With the object of encouraging new talent, Adam, the Anglo-French quarterly, announces the creation of three literary prizes of £100 each, to be conferred at six-monthly intervals over the next two years.

The first award will be for a short novg,1 (40,000-45,000 words); the second for a group of three to six poems, preferably by someone who has not yet appeared in volume form; the third for a first play not yet performed or published.

All winning texts will appear in a special issue of the magazine. Full details are included in the latest number of Adam (310) entirely devoted to Marcel Proust and Dorothy Richardson, and available at lOs 6d at this address.
