Sir: Alfred Sherman in his excellent article on the tourist plague makes one inaccurate assertion. He says that foreign tourists do not bath. One can only wish they would bath a little less. To me the most stifling aspect of life in tourist London is the odour of Brut after-shave lotion — nicknamed Mahomet's Revenge in our part of Paddington.
