In defence of Concorde
Sir : I am following with wide-eyed fascination the debate over the Concorde. The arguments so far have dwelt heavily on the costs of con- tinuing with the project and the costs of aban- doning it. But I have nowhere come across a considered view of the benefits to society to be conferred by the Concorde. Could some know- ing person enlighten us?
