Don MIGUEL has rejected an offer of mediation, made to

hint at Santarem, by the Queen of Spain ; whose Ambassador, Baron RAME- FORD, had an interview with him on the 17th of last month. General BODIL has made a fresh incursion into Portugal, as far as Braganza, in search of Don CARI.OS; but only succeeded in capturing some of the Junta who attended him. There are rumours of naval preparations by the agents of Don Mictist ; and it seems to be allowed that he has lately been successful in recruiting his army from among the peasantry. In the mean time, hostilities have not recommenced.
