The papers of Monday published the Soviet reply to Sir
Austen Chamberlain's Note. We need not pay it the compliment of analysing it fully. It makes the familiar assertion that all the documents seized were " forgeries." How tired we arc of these forgeries ! It goes on to say that the British Government have drawn upon the most suspect sources among the White Russian refugees and that the raid on the Trade Delegation in London actually proved " the loyalty and correctness of official Soviet agents; " I
