Harlson UNDERPAID PROFESSIONS SIR,—We appreciate the publicity which your paper has given to the plight of the bank em- ployees, and your references to the campaign in which this union is heavily involved, and in which so far we have been very successful. There will be no easing-up in the campaign, until negotiating rights are established.

It is the success in our membership that I wish to mention. Your article speaks of a possible rise of 3 per cent. or 4 per cent. in our membership over the next year. I would like your readers to know that our member- ship has ,already increased by 12 per cent. since the beginning of this year.—Yours faith-
