Zbr Court.
THE country enjoyments of the Court have been interrupted by the in- cursion of the important business incidental to the change of Ministry. Even the removal from Windsor to Claremont, whither the Qaeen and Prince Albert repaired on Wednesday, did not release her Majesty from the weighty cares of her station. The Princess Royal, with the suite, went to Claremont with the Queen.
A private account in one of the papers remarks that the Queen was absent from divine service on Sunday, and says that slight indisposi- tion was the cause. There is no trace of that in the authentic history of the Court circular : the Queen and Prince have taken their usual out-door exercise.
The Queen gave an audience on Sunday to Viscount Melbourne, who arrived on that day and remained till Monday. On Monday and Wed- nesday, the Queen gave audiences to Sir Robert Peel, on the subject of the change of Ministry. At the latter, her Majesty signified her ap- proval of the arrangements made by Sir Robert. Yesterday, the Queen held a Privy Council, at which the late Ministers resigned their seals of office ; which were then delivered to their successors.
On Saturday, the Queen Dowager and Prince Ernest of Hesse Phi- lippsthal (who returned to Marlborough House from the Duke of Cam- bridge's residence at Kew, on the same day) dined with the Duke of Sussex at Kensington Palace. The Duke of Sussex visited her Majesty on Sunday. Queen Adelaide and Prince Ernest left Marl- borough House on Monday, for her Majesty's residence, Sudbury Hall, in Derbyshire.
The Duke of Cambridge took his departure from Kew on Sunday, to visit the Dutchess of Gloucester, at Bagshot Park ; and he returned to Kew on Monday.
