Three People's Secret. By G. Manville Fenn. (Simpkin, Marshall, and
Co.)—We did not expect a tale of this type from Mr. Manville Fenn. It is not worthy of him in any sense of the word, for it is neither a good " shocker " nor a good story, and it is not well told. The plot is a strong one, and with more careful handling would have been as thrilling as any of the author's. Mr. Fenn has written Three People's Secret, and that is all that can be said for the story.
