Flawless floor
From Mr Rolf Norfolk Sir: I was impressed by the photograph of Carl Andre's 'Glarus Copper Galaxy' in your Arts section (29 July). The ostensible subject is facile rubbish, of course, like the garbage produced by Hirst, Emin, etc., which has the modern-art pseuds tied in intellectual knots of their own making; but I really liked what I could see of the metic- ulously crafted polished wooden floor on which Andre's industrial copper coil had been laid. It's obviously a good job well done — can you tell us who did it? And where will it be shown next?
