The Times' Correspondent telegraphs from Calcutta that the man arrested

in Gwalior is not the Nana, and that Scindiah has

acknowledged his mistake. It is not known who the man really is,—probably a man who hoped to obtain help from Scindiah and then raise the Afarhattas, and who was baffled by Scindiah's quick fear for his own authority.
