The Young People's Microscope. By the Rev. S. N. Sedgwick.

(Robert Culley. 38. 6d. net.)—This is described as a sequel to Mr. Sedgwiek's "Young People's Nature-Study Book." When one sees the word "microscope," the first thought is of a costly instru- ment. Mr. Sedgwick reassures us. "The most expensive piece of appaaatus mentioned in this book does not cost more than six or sevt n shillings." A boy may even make a working apparatus for a few pence. This preliminary disposed of, then follow all necessary suggestions and instructions. This should be a most useful volume.
