I am told the total cavalry-strength of the British Expe-

ditionary Force is at present three steeds. One is ridden, on occasion, by the Commander-in-Chief. Who bestride the other two I am not sure. Perhaps the two corps-commanders, Sir John Dill and General Brooke. I trust this information is not of service to the enemy. It may not be accurate.
