NEW EDITION.-Eambles in Arcadia. By Arthur Grant (Constable and Co.
Is. 6d. net.)-A little book of magazine articles, chiefly describing holiday travels in England, Scot- land, and Spain. The author is fond of literary quotations and allusions, but is more interesting when dealing with topics such as "Spanish-Arabian Dames" or "The Song of Roland" than when he is on familiar English ground, though an uncritical reader will no doubt enjoy all these papers, untroubled by a style which can refer to a church as "a shrine of petrified poetry."
