Real facts

Sir: With reference to Mr Evans- Pritchard's piece, 'Fascist Sandinistas and Marxist Contras' (13 February), I suggest that the real facts are these: the Nicara- guan people are struggling to survive and to maintain their national sovereignty, independence and self-determination in the face of a long, systematic and brutal war of aggression by the United States of America, which has been declared illegal by the International Court of Justice at the Hague.
