Considerable supplies of bullion have been - withdrawn from the Bank
this week for export, and the Directors of the establishment have in consequence raised their minimum rate of discount to 7 per cent. The Bank statement is unfavourable, the reserve having declined to the extent of 1,058,2911., and the supply of coin and bullion by 346,6361. The former is now 5,686,3701., and the latter 13,509,140/.
