Colonel Fremantle's important book on The Health of the Nation

(Philip Allan, 8s. 6d.) is dedicated to Mr. Baldwin, and contains a foreword by the Minister of Health. We cannot review it without writing on these great problems which affect the life of these islands and the Empire of which they are a part. But we may say with confidence that so much important information has rarely been assembled so clearly and in so small a compass. In a sense our health is all our capital. Its wise use is our greatest need, and Colonel Fremantle may be congratulated on a very clear conspectus of " what is and what might be."
