In the " Cambridge Edition of the Poets," Edited by

Bliss Perry (Houghton, Mifflin, and Co., Boston, H.S.), we have The Complete Dramatic and Poetic Works of William Shakespeare, Edited by William Allan Neilson (12s. 6d. net). The text is "the result of an independent examination of the early Quarto and the First Folio editions of Shakespeare's Works." (Possibly this form of expression may be a little misleading. It cannot be said that there was a "First Folio edition of Shakespeare's Works." It might have been as well to state exactly what we have in the way of textual authorities.) The volume contains a biographical sketch, a prefatory note to each play, &c., and a glossary. The pages number twelve* hundred and thirty-seven_ It is an excellent specimen of printing.
