Lord Arthur Hill, Member for Downshire, becomes Baron Sandys by the death of his mother, the Marchioness of Downshire, who was Baroness Sandys. It is probable that the Earl of Hillsborough, the Marquis of Downshire's eldest son, will succeed Lord Arthur Hill in the representation of the county.
