The Nottingham poll terminated yesterday, according to the Times, in

giving Walter, 1,885, Sturge, 1,801; majority for Walter, 84. The town was in a state of great disturbance ; but from the complaints of in- jury to clothes and the like minor outrages, we infer that the violence was not so bad as it has been formerly.
