Professional Papers of the Royal Engineers. Edited by Captain W.

A. Gale, R.E. Vol. XVII., "Occasional Papers." (W. and J. Mackay, Chatham.)—The volume is wholly occupied by a treatise by Major Moore on "Sanitary Engineering," a subject which is at least as worthy to engage the attention of an engi- neering officer as any other.—With this may be mentioned The Drainage of Habitable Buildings, by W. Lee Beardmore (Whittaker and Co.)
