On Thursday, July 28th, the Upper House agreed to the

Archbishop of Canterbury's motion to present the Indian Church measure for the Royal Assent. The historic Church in India with its half a million of Indian members thus takes an independent status like those of the Churches of Australia and Canada. We wish it all peace and progress. On Friday the 29th the Royal Assent was given to the Trade Unions Bill and Parliament adjourned until November. - * * * *
