SIR,—Congratulations to you for publishing, and Nicholas Davenport for writing, the four best articles on economic policy since Maynard Keynes died. Together, they constitute a classic document, which should be made compulsory reading for professors, politicians, tycoons and the managerial society— including all trade union leaders. I hope that he will now develop his themes, and turn them into the book they ought to be; and would like to add that I am very proud to have been associated with him in quite a lot of the splendid work he has done since the war.
