LEARNING TO SPELL
[To the Editor of the SPECTATOR.]
Sut,—I read the Spectator regularly every week, but I really think that as a leader of thought you should learn to spell correctly ! In nearly every recent issue the word judgment is mis-spelt by putting an " e " in the middle. Please correct
in future.—I am, Sir, &c., J. P. [If our correspondent will consult the Oxford Dictionary, sx. "judgement," he will perhaps be ready to withdraw his charge of mis-spelling.—ED., Spectator.]
