.TO Court.

HER MAJESTY the Queen held on Monday afternoon, at Buckingham Palace, Investitures of the Most Ancient Order of the Thistle and of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.

Prince Louis of Hesse, attended by Baron von Westerweller, paid visits on Tuesday to her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, his Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge, his Serene Highness Prince Edward of Saxe Weimar, and the Duchess of Hamilton, at their respective residences, to take leave on his departure for the Continent.

We understand that it is the Queen's intention to visit Ireland to- wards the latter end of August. Her Majesty will remain four or five days at the Viceregal Lodge in the Phenix Park, and will probably visit the camp at the Curragh of Kildare from thence; the Queen will then make an excursion to the Lakes of Killarney.
