Yesterday, Mr. George Towline, the Tory candidate, was elected for

Sudbury. Mr. Arland, the Anti-Corn-law lecturer, harangued the people, and talked of oaring himself ; and an abortive attempt was made to nominate Mr. Bagshaw ; but there was no serious opposition to Mr. Towline's return.
