I wonder what Mr. Morrison thought he was gaining by

telling a Danish.audience that if a Labour Government came back it would press for the admission of Communist China to the United Nations. I wonder too, incidentally, on what authority he said that; does this figure in the pending statement of Labour policy ? On the main issue I happen to agree with Mr. Morrison. Communist China certainly ought to be in the United Nations. But does he propose that §he should be admitted while she is fighting United Nations troops in Korea 7" And how far is he prepared to go in creating a breach between this country and the United States for the sake of Mao Tse-tung ?
