In addition to Tuesday's raid a daylight raid on Deal

tookplace on Wednesday. The windows of a church were broken, the roof of a house blown off, a public-house seriously damaged, and a good many windows smashed. Seven bombs in all were thrown. Happily the casualties do not seem to have been on a large scale.
