While dealing with war news we may add that there

have been rumours of grave disturbances in Berlin, in which a good many people are said to have lost their lives. It is further rumoured, pre- sumably in connexion with these riots, that Dr. Karl Liebknecht, the Socialist leader and member of the Reichstag, has been arrested on the order of tho Military Court. The arrest has been the cause of great resentment in Berlin. Though these reports are significant, our readers must not jump to the conclusion that they indicate any serious change in the action of the German Government. The German people are still unitedly behind the Kaiser and his advisers.
