We much regret to record the loss of the auxiliary

mine- sweeper 'Hythe' off Gallipoli after being in collision with another vessel. About two hundred and fifty men were on board besides the crew. One warrant officer and nine men are reported missing, and two Army officers and one hundred and forty-three soldiers.
