It is stated in the Dublin correspondence of the Miming
Herald, that Mr. BLACKBURNE had been offered, acid refused, the Puisne Judge- ship, vacant by the death of Judge JESS ; and that Mr. CRAMPTON, the Solicitor-General, has accepted it. Sergeant O'LorGiti.t:EN, a Catholic barrister of high reputation, will, it is said, be made Solicitor- General ; and Mr. 1Vot.rr., another Catholic, the new Sergeant.
Mr. O'CoNNELL's letter to Lord DUNGANNON has been perused with extreme interest in Dublin.
