The Architects` Journal.
The Architects' Journal (March 28th) is full of interesting matter, including an entertaining article on Wren and an iffinninating and generously illustrated exposition of the Charing Cross Bridge proposals by the Secretary of the London Society. The most interesting photographs, however, are those embel- lishing an account of the conversion of Stowe House into a public school under the architectural advice of Mr. Clough Williams-Ellis. Besides many views of the great house and its surrounding temples, scale plans are given showing the vast extent of the available building and how the architect proposes to deal with them.
