two babes in the Downside woods rallying to Simon Raven's cause (Letters, 24 March).
I never miss Raven's articles. This latest, by Polonius out of Lord Chesterfield, was no dis- appointment. The Roman patrician suitably look- ing down his nose. The purpose of your upbringing,
my boy, is to ensure that your snout is at the end of the trough where the appetising titbits are.
If only we could see a more extensive exposition of the views of these two precocious philosophers. One reads of Catholicism in a ferment. Father Charles Davis, Archbishop Roberts and now Jeremy Heath and Ian Mathewson!
