Undergraduates

SIR,—I have been a reader of your excellent journal for quite some years now and I have always recommended it strongly to my friends in many countries. I have noticed the inclusion, since the war, of certain new features, such as your always amusing competition and especially your Undergraduate Article. Many of my contemporaries in somewhat advanced middle age are inclined to say that the British youth of today is not what it was forty years ago, especially in that it lacks the spirit of competition and leadership.
