COMING TO BE FED.
[To Tax EDITOR OF THE "Srrortrop.."] SIR,—In the article on "A Latin Farmer" in the Spectator of November 16th it is stated that "on an estate kept by Varro himself there were wild boars and roedeer which came to feed at fixed times at the blowing of a horn," &c. The same thing occurs daily at Moritzburg, near Dresden, a hunting-box belonging to the King of Saxony. Every after- noon wild boars may be seen trotting and deer proceeding in a more graceful manner through the forest to the feeding- place. The feeding is one of the sights of Moritzburg, and much frequented by visitors.
