YEOMANRY CAVALRY.—It seems that some of the Scotch Anti- Reformers are at present exceedingly zealous in their efforts to form yeomanry corps. The other day, a notice was given that clothing for a troop was lying ready to be issued at one of the inns at Kirkcaldy; but when the time of meeting came, nobody made his appearance, but Mr. Douglas of Strathendry, and Sir John Oswald. Sir John is willing to serve in the ranks; but what sort of a rank can be fabricated out of one man, even though he be a knight? The troop of two marched home without sound of trumpet.
