SIR,—I am surprised that no one seems to have supplemented
the list of medicos who have been writers (Mr. Cargill's letter, January 24). Here are some more: Campion, Sir Thomas Browne, Keats, Beddoes; in our own day Axel Munthe has been a best-selling author, and among our poets Edward Lowbury is one who deserves wider recognition.— Yours faithfully,
