JUNE DROP

The June drop is an inevitable happening, perhaps; but it can be anticipated by thinning the clusters on trees that are heavy cropping. Well-set fruit is firmly fixed, but not all of it will have room to develop, and a reasonable thinning-out will benefit the ultimate yield of apples.
