with the truth seems to be the gist of Peter Oborne's article. True. But he misses the main charge. Telling porkies is official Labour policy. Except that Alastair Camp- bell dreamed up a posh-sounding word for it, to give it respectability: 'rebuttal'. As in `rebuttal unit', set up by Frank Dobson when Secretary of State for Health, etc., etc.
