At a meeting of the Liberal electors of Westminster held
on Thursday Mr. J. S. Mill was accepted as a candidate with enthusiasm, the electors even proposing to pay the expenses of the election. Westminster seems really inclined to remove the dis- credit which attaches to London constituencies.
