The London Diocese Book, 1865. By John Hassard, Private Secretary
to the Bishop of London: (Rivingtons.)—The discontinuance of The London Diocesan Calendar has made room for this work, which is extremely well executed, and contains a great deal of information in a very convenient form. It gives a full account of the ecclesiastical arrangements of the diocese and the distribution of the parishes into deaneries, a history of the various Chapels Royal, and a complete list of the foreign chaplaincies which are under the superintendence of the Bishop of London. Of course the diocesan and clerical societies are not for- gotten. The London Diocese Book in fact contains everything that a clergyman of the diocese wants to know about it.
