The Sunday Magazine for April is rather dull and disappointing.
" The Bishop of Winchester at Farnham Castle " is a paper essentially of the "interview" kind, but written in better taste than aro most articles of the sort. "The Graves by the Victoria Nyanza" is a startling revelation of the existence of the martyr spirit amongst us. Mr. R. M. Ballantyne sends a strong counter- blast to a favourite pleasure of the day in " Smoking," but it will probably not carry much weight, as it is not written in a truly scientific spirit.
