A dispute has occurred between the Buenos Ayres Government and

the French naval commander, in consequence of the former attempting to compel all the Frenchmen in the town to take arms for its defence against the Monteneros. The French commander, as a punishment for this insult, sent into the harbour and seized the whole of the vessels of war that were lying there. The dispute will 'probably end by a revocation of the order issued by Lavalle.
