Joseph Wood, the celebrated " Couple-beggar," died on Sunday se'nnight of fever, at his house in Hay-market, Dublin. His business was so extensive, that it is said he married, within the last sixteen years, no less than five thousand couples, being on an average upwards of three hundred for each year !
