THE KING.—IES Majesty continues to enjoy good health and the
gay town of Brighton, as cheerfully as the weather-wl pe rmit. The 'Queen had a slight cold last week, but is now better. The Duke of Sussex has left the Pavilion for Holkham. There was a very numerous company with their Majesties on Tuesday, but the rest of the week Is its been devoted to mere family parties. The King and Queen have limited their excursions for some time to carriage-drives. The story of the Royal visit to Scotland has been contradicted it is now said that it will not take place this year. The visit to Ireland, which was planned to follow that to Scotland, is at present equally problematical.
