The Post-Office London Directory for 1876. (Kelly and Co.)—This invaluable
directory has been rendered still more useful in its present issue by a very important addition to the map and the Street Directory. To the name of each street is added letters which will enable the reader to find on the map, the map-squares through which it runs. Thus, we look out Brecknock Road, N., in the Street Directory, and find appended to it the letters J3, K3, K4. This means that Brocknock Road will be found at the intersection of the lino marked J with the lino marked 3, also at that of the lino marked K with the line marked 3, and again at the intersection of K with the lino marked 4. The map also helps to show distances, since each side of the squares into which the map is divided is exactly half-a-mile, while the diagonal is very nearly three-quarters of a mile. As usual, the latest changes of address are included in the directory.
