Letters have been received from Oporto to the 29th ult.
; up to which time things remained in nearly the same state, although reinforcements to a considerable amount had arrived. Marshal SOLIGNAC was waiting for the Manlius transport, with about four hundred men and stores, in • order to complete his arrangements for assuming the offensive. A good deal of intrigue was still going on in the Cabinet of Don PEDRO ; and . several French officers, among whom was General FROMONT, who commanded a brigade, had quitted Oporto. The General, however, had other motives for leaving it than dissatisfaction with Don PEDRO.
