Bad sports

From Mr Jack Robertson Sir: While it was culturally missionary of Luke Slattery ('Cultural binge', 25 May) to advise you blokes that Gough Whitlam speaks Ancient Greek, Paul Keating knows his Directoire art and Bob Carr can translate the word Lusophone. I feel that in the interests of journalistic balance he should also have pointed out that not one of those smug bastard know-it-alls can bat to save his life.
