Arithmetic of abortion
From Edward Collier Sir: Phil Wyness (Letters, 1 May) writes that 'since the introduction of the Abortion Law Reform Act of 1967, the state has conspired in the destruction of some 6-10 million of its future citizens' and cites this as an evolutionary catastrophe. Whatever the merits or otherwise of that piece of legislation, I would like to know in what way he thinks that this country would be better off with 6-10 million extra inhabitants.
